Dr. Zielke: "I have been a physician since 1980 after finishing medical school. In my carrier I went through many hopes and disappointments trying to help my patients. I have been there when medical research brought more and more new advances and more breakthrough drugs promising cures to many. It felt good to read and learn the latest research and be able to offer it to patients.

More than 20 years passed, however, and even though great advances have been made, the cure never came. Not only that - quite often the treatments brought more misery to patients than the disease itself. Then there was the money factor. It has happened too often that patients haven't got the treatment they really need, but rather the treatment that pays the most and is supported by insurance companies. Effective, non-invasive but inexpensive treatments are rarely chosen for obvious reasons.
The vast majority of scientific research is paid by pharmaceutical companies which have the incentive to promote new drugs and only if they can be patented - to cover the high cost of development, government fees (FDA) and please the shareholders. This leaves the entire realm of vitamins, essential minerals and nutritional supplements aside. The only time you hear about research in this field is when it is designed to discredit, for example Fish oil or Glucosamine, once public starts to catch up on these information from alternative sources. No wonder doctors have one of the shortest lifespans - by at large they only believe in pharmaceuticals.

In the fall of 2003 I was introduced to Laser Therapy. I met Dr. Nelson Marquina PhD from USA Laser, Inc. who had been working in this field for many years. Additionally, a new generation of high power therapeutic lasers had just been made available and newer lasers were on the drawing boards.

The time was right - in the spring 2004 I set up Medical Frontiers and for the first time I used Laser Therapy on a patient. It was an instant success. My professional life never before was so gratifying - I never before came closer to the "cure". Overtime, as my experience with Laser Therapy grew, I developed protocols to treat medical conditions for which there was no treatments before - for example phantom pain and RSD.

I also developed new services to cover all aspects of Laser Therapy such as Smoking Cessation, Cosmetics and Anti-aging Medicine.

The biggest beneficiaries of Laser Therapy are the patients who find the treatments to be effective and completely painless. They also find the services surprisingly inexpensive as I believe in affordable medicine."
